Urban X Campers Unveils the Tungsten Armorlite

Urban X Campers, the U.S. arm of Australia's Urban Caravans, has revealed its pop-top overlanding trailer for the American market: the Tungsten Armourlite, a lighter, lower off-grid camper built for anything — with a gun safe built into the rear wall, ready for the hunt.

Forged in Australia's harshest terrain and now built to U.S. spec, the Armorlite rides on a 100% TIG-welded aluminum frame — lock-bolted, zero timber, so it never rots — with checkerplate armor, Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension, disc brakes and Mickey Thompson mud-terrains.

It's built to stay out for weeks: 600Ah lithium, six solar panels, a 3,000W Victron system and 87 gallons of water across three tanks. Inside the 17'6" cabin: a queen bed, Thetford fridge, full ensuite with washer, diesel heat and A/C.
